Why?

What is the purpose of this blog?

There are a few reasons.  I've come a long way over the last few years, read through the history page!

In that time I have spent many hundreds of hours researching health and nutrition and science. And I've spent about as much time talking and teaching people online and in person. I've retold some subjects so many times I've pretty much got the speech memorized. So, I'm writing this stuff down once and for all so I can send people here instead of rehashing it over and over.

Whether you're overweight and want to get fit or you're an athlete looking to improve, you'll find useful information here. Avoid the ridiculous fad diets, pills, exercise plans... wastes of so much time and money.

Do you want to be fit and healthy into old age?
You want to look and feel great?
You want to rarely get sick?
You want to outperform most people your age (and many much younger than you)?

That's what I'm talking about. How to get the max benefit with the least effort, in an easily sustainable way. A lifestyle, not a diet.

To do that, we need science, time, and consistent effort. Not trendy gimmicks or expensive products.
